Feit Electric is a completely free lifestyle companion that empowers you to effortlessly control and manage the LED smart bulbs you own from the app’s title brand. Through this mobile application, you can turn lights on, off, or dim as well as set groups, timers, or schedules with so much ease.  

This smart home suite works fine with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant enabling you to easily operate your Feit Electric bulbs using your simple voice commands. Customization options such as color modification or tune color temperature change can be tailored seamlessly from the app as well.

How it works

The idea of this mobile bundle is wise and handy but its performance is quite poor which can even annoy you at times. Once the Feit Electric tool is launched on your smartphone, you will be prompted to ‘Log In’ or ‘Register.’ If you only wish to get a glimpse of it, you can do so through the ‘Try Now’ button.   

However, some features can’t be utilized when you opt to use the program in that mode. When connecting, the solution requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network unfortunately, you can encounter some connectivity issues on some of your other devices. To access the bulb settings, just press and hold the icon for 2 seconds. Sliding the dimming bar, on the other hand, will allow you to adjust the brightness level. 

A round slider will empower you to fine-tune the color temperatures from Warm (2700K) to Cool (6500K). There will be a color picker displayed also for you to select your desired color or choose your preferred preset color. As stated, you can designate a time to turn on or off your lights. You can put it on repeat if you usually enable or disable your lights during those tabbed times.

Handy but has some drawbacks 

The official Feit Electric mobile solution is useful in so many ways. With this, you can manually or automatically set your lights on or off anywhere you are. Several customization options are offered that permit you to personalize the bulb settings to your liking, However, the application itself demands some overhaul especially with the overlaying graphic icon controls seen in its interface and the huge network connection it consumes.
